Guidelines for Students

  1. Strict regularity, implicit obedience, courtesy in speech and conduct, cleanliness of dress and person are expected from every pupil. Pupils must strictly conform to the regulations laid down in this regard.
  2. The pupils are responsible to the School authorities not only for their conduct in the school but also for their general behavior outside. Any reported objectionable conduct out of the school on the part of the pupils makes them liable for disciplinary action.
  3. The wearing of the school uniform is obligatory. Violation of this is a sufficient reason for the expulsion of a student from the school. No student will be allowed to the school without the prescribed uniform.
  4. No student should possess mobile phone, CD, Pen Drive or any other electronic items and jewellery or valuables whatsoever in the school campus, the school shall not be responsible if these are lost or stolen.
  5. No collection for any purpose, whatsoever, is to be made without the prior permission of the Principal.
  6. Presents to the members of the staff in cash or any kind not allowed.
  7. The date of birth of a student once entered will not be changed. The Parent / Guardian will have to sign an undertaking to this effect.
  8. The name of a student who does not rejoin within three days after commencement of a term shall be struck off the rolls unless leave has been previously applied for and the sanction obtained from the head of the institution.

  9. Note: This rule does not prevent the Principal from refusing admission to the new session for adequate reasons to a student who was on the rolls in the previous session

  10. Children must speak English in the school campus.
  11. All pupils must posses a copy of the school calendar, which is to be brought on all working days.
  12. Late comers and absentees from school will not be admitted to the class without the Principal’s written permission.
  13. Every student is expected to be on time daily for the assembly with the school diary at the commencement of the first meeting.
  14. School gate will be closed with the first bell for safety reasons. The entry thereafter will be restricted.
  15. No leave of absence is granted, except on written application from parent and that only for serious reasons. The school accepts no responsibility, if a child is obliged to return home during school hours for non-compliance of any rules. Mere sending of an application is not sufficient; the sanction of leave must be obtained.
  16. The pupils are not allowed to visit the Staff Room.
  17. Fines may be imposed by the Principal for irregularity, indiscipline or damage to the school property.
  18. The pupils are not allowed to leave the school premises during the school hours.
  19. The school authorities may exercise their right of not readmitting the students who fail to return within three days after the vacations.
  20. Parents and guardians are, therefore, particularly requested to co-operate with the school authorities by sending their children back to the school on the re-opening date unless a written permission for extension of the leave has previously been obtained. Such permission, however, will only be granted for very grave reasons.
  21. In case of illness, a medical certificate must be produced within three days of absence of the student. The school accepts the medical certificates of doctors in the government service, not below the rank of chief physician or surgeon only. In case of doubt, the school may insist on the child being examined by the civil surgeon or the school doctor.
  22. If a student continues to be absent for a month, without the previous written permission of the Principal, his / her name will be struck off the roll, and in case of his / her rejoining, the re- admission fee will be charged.

    1. Irregular attendance, frequent failure to obtain good in conduct, habitual lack of interest and prolonged or intermittent illness, behaviour detrimental to the discipline and the moral tone of the school, repeated failure in tests or examinations and insubordination are sufficient reasons, singly or together, to expel a student guilty of such laxity or misdemeanor, even without any notice of warning.
    2. On national days like Republic Day, Independence Day and any other notified school function every student has to be present without fail. Absence on such days will be considered very grave and anti-nationalistic.

  23. The school authorities do not hold themselves responsible for the student’s lose of money, books, articles or clothing etc. The students are expected to look after their own belongings.
  24. Articles found in the school are to be handed over to the principal’ office.
  25. Parents are strictly forbidden to interview their children or their teachers in the class, without the permission of the Principal. The Second Saturday of the month may be considered Open Day when they can meet the teacher.
  26. Students should not be taken away from the class by anybody without an application from the parent or guardian.
  27. The principal may punish a student in a manner suited to the offence e.g. by detention after school hours or by expulsion from the institution without assigning any reason.
  28. The principal reserves the right to waive aside any of the rules contained in the prospectus / calendar without assigning any reason.
  29. The interpretation of any rule in the prospectus rests solely and entirely with the governing body of this school. Their interpretation and decision is final.
  30. For disobedience to the clear expressed orders of the Principal, punishment laid down is dismissal without any previous warning. The same punishment is laid down for moral turpitude, writing on the walls and roads and defiance of the authorities.
  31. The school neck-ties, and monograms to be worn by every pupil.
  32. Students wearing turbans must come with gray coloured turban and no other colour will be allowed.
  33. Students who are dirty in dress, or without uniform will not be permitted to sit in the class.
  34. If a pupil is obliged to come to school without the proper uniform, he / she should get a note of satisfactory explanation from his / her parents otherwise he / she will not be admitted to class.
  35. No pupil of less than 5 years 10 months and more than 6 years 6 months will be admitted to class I. For the higher classes add one year for each class.
  36. No pupil will be admitted without transfer certificate from the last school attended and in no case shall a scholar e permitted to attend a class pending formal admission.
  37. If a pupil comes from an unrecognized school, his admission can be had only after the inspector of schools countersigns his transfer certificates.
  38. The leaving certificate of a pupil coming from a school outside Uttar Pradesh must be countersigned by the educational authorities of the district, in which the school is situated. Please send the leaving certificate in good time to the Principal of the former school, for the counter signature, as this is required to finalize admission.
  39. A pupil joining school for the first time must produce satisfactory evidence the date of birth, such as an extract from the municipal or village records or baptismal certificate.
  40. Pupils applying for admission are as a rule subjected to a test. In the case of late admission of a pupil, the fee from the beginning of the first term shall be charged, unless otherwise ordered by the Principal.
  41. When the pupil is admitted on a transfer certificate he shall not be placed in any class higher than that for which the certificate shows him to be qualified, nor will he be promoted before the end of the school year.
  42. Every application for a leaving certificate shall be made in writing by the parent or guardian.
  43. A leaving certificate will not be issued until all the fees are paid.
  44. A fee of Rs.25/- will be charged for a transfer certificate and this will be issued only 3 days after receipt of an application. Any certificate from the school can be provided if an application is made to this effect three days in advance.
  45. A month’s notice in writing is required before a pupil can be withdrawn. In lieu of such a notice, a full additional month’s fee will be charged. No notice is accepted during the school vacation and in case of a withdrawal at this time; the fees must be paid up-to the end of the term.
