Admission Process
Although Catholic Minority Schools are meant primarily for Catholics, they may also admit other children irrespective of caste, creed and religion as per the availability of the seats.
- No pupil of less than 5 years 10 months and more than 6 years 6 months will be admitted to class I. For the higher classes add one year for each class.
- No pupil will be admitted without transfer certificate from the last school attended and in no case shall a scholar e permitted to attend a class pending formal admission.
- If a pupil comes from an unrecognized school, his admission can be had only after the inspector of schools countersigns his transfer certificates.
- The leaving certificate of a pupil coming from a school outside Uttar Pradesh must be countersigned by the educational authorities of the district, in which the school is situated. Please send the leaving certificate in good time to the Principal of the former school, for the counter signature, as this is required to finalize admission.
- A pupil joining school for the first time must produce satisfactory evidence the date of birth, such as an extract from the municipal or village records or baptismal certificate.
- Pupils applying for admission are as a rule subjected to a test. In the case of late admission of a pupil, the fee from the beginning of the first term shall be charged, unless otherwise ordered by the Principal.
- When the pupil is admitted on a transfer certificate he shall not be placed in any class higher than that for which the certificate shows him to be qualified, nor will he be promoted before the end of the school year.
- Every application for a leaving certificate shall be made in writing by the parent or guardian.
- A leaving certificate will not be issued until all the fees are paid.
- A fee of Rs.25/- will be charged for a transfer certificate and this will be issued only 3 days after receipt of an application. Any certificate from the school can be provided if an application is made to this effect three days in advance.
- A month’s notice in writing is required before a pupil can be withdrawn. In lieu of such a notice, a full additional month’s fee will be charged. No notice is accepted during the school vacation and in case of a withdrawal at this time, the fees must be paid up-to the end of the term.

Academic Subject Evaluation
Total Formative Assessment = FA-1 + FA2 + FA3 + FA4 = 40%
Summative Assessment = SA-1 + SA-2

Assessments in April, May, July, August, October, November, December, January, February are to be Formative in nature and those at the end of September and March summative.
Assessments will be written as well as oral tests. It could also include projects, surveys, quizzes, assignments, tests class work, home work, conversation interviews, experiments oral questions etc.

SCHEME OF THE BOARD:
There will be no class X Board Examination w.e.f. 2011 for students studying in CBSE’s Senior after class X will be required to take the Board’s External (Pen and paper written) Examination.
The new grading system will be introduced at the secondary school level (for class IX and X) effective from 2009-10 Academic Session.
